While many young people look up to Nicki Minaj, it seems the new principal at her alma mater has no interest in Onika going back to spread knowledge, as the Queen from Queens recently told her Barbz via Twitter that her request to speak at LaGuardia High School has been denied.
"I wanted to go back to my HS and speak to the students but the new principal declined. No need for me to inspire them, I guess. Smh"
Many of Nicki's fans were in disbelief, citing Minaj's popularity and influence on young people as a key reason she should be able to speak to the school. When asked why they turned down her offer, Minaj claims they didn't give her a clear answer.
