J.R. Smith: "I Told Michael Jordan I'll Whup His A**"

J.R. Smith has never been one to back down to a challenge -- even if it means challenging the G.O.A.T. himself, Michael Jordan. 

Smith has become an aficionado of golf in recent years, a sport which His Airness is mighty fond of.

In a recent interview with Bleacher Report, Smith documented the friendly rivalry that he's developed on the golf green with MJ. 

"I've talked to [MJ] a few times," Smith said. "I'm always so starstruck that I forget to ask him questions. The last thing we talked about was golf. I tell him, 'I'll whup your ass.' He doesn't want to play me, though. He plays a lot, like, with [golf pro] Keegan Bradley."
