Vogue has long been considered the fashion bible, but when it comes to societal trends, the legendary publication is being called out for getting it completely wrong for naming celebs like Kim Kardashian and Iggy Azalea as being the reason big booties are popular and accepted.

"Kim Kardashian. With a truly singular figure, Kardashian and her family debuted their reality show, Keeping Up With the Kardashians, in 2007. It made the entire clan famous, of course, but Kardashian's behind was the real star, and was frequently employed as a plot device. In one season, Kardashian even X-rayed her body to prove her curves were real and not the by-product of artificial implants."

The article, titled "We're Officially in the Era of the Big Booty," also mentions Jennifer Lopez as a key figure in the big booty "movement," and while most agree that Jenny from the block rightfully deserved the shout out, Kim & Iggy are different stories.
