A 30-year-old mother from Evansville, Indiana, whose identity has not been released, was recently rescued on September 4th after spending nearly 2 full months held captive by a truly sick and sadistic couple.  She initially disappeared on July 9th, after she left the apartment that she shared with her boyfriend after they engaged in an alcohol-enhanced argument.  She was eventually offered a ride by the familiar face of a man named Ricky House Jr., who wound up taking her on a 40-mile drive to the small town of Stewartsville, where he shared a mobile home with his girlfriend Kendra Tooley.

After a while the woman got up to leave, but according to Evansville Detective Tony Mayhew, she was then drugged and held as their prisoner.

"(The victim) got up to leave, Detective Mayhew stated in official court documents.  "But, Ricky placed chloroform over her mouth and nose (which caused) her to lose consciousness. (The victim) awoke to find her clothing cut off and she was bound to a bed within the trailer."

The woman was forced to endure extreme torture over the next two months, as she was repeatedly beaten and violently raped by her "sadist" captor, Ricky House Jr.  She was either tied to the bed with zip ties or "an intricate restraint system," according to court documents.  At times, House and Tooley even had her wear "a red dog collar with a rope or leash attached to it," and also forced her to remain inside of a "locked wooden cage" like an abused dog.  According to what Tooley reported to the police, during this time House was attempting to impregnate the victim because Tooley was too old to have kids herself. Luckily for the victim, Ms. Tooley decided to bring over her ex-husband, 61-year-old Ronald Higgs, on September 4th, to show off her and House's prized possession.

After arriving at their home, Higgs was baffled when Tooley randomly informed him that she was keeping a woman captive inside of a cage.  He spoke to CNN affiliate WEHT about about what transpired once he found out that Tooley and House really were keeping a woman locked inside of their home.

"(Tooley) slid over on the couch beside me and said 'I've got a girl back here in a cage.'" Higgs said.  "I said 'you got a girl back here in a cage? What are you talking about?   I didn't really know what I could do because I'm nowhere near the man I used to be, but (I wasn't) leaving (that) house without her."

Apparently House threatened him with a sawed-off shotgun once Higgs attempted to free the victim.

"He stuck that shotgun right here under my chin with his finger on the trigger," Higgs recalled.  "I said if you're going to effing kill me you better do it now or I'm going to take this away from you and beat you to death with it."

Higgs managed to get the gun away from his face and head-butt House in the face, which caused him to scurry away into another room.  Higgs then proceeded to free the woman and notify the police of House and Tooley's criminal activity.  37-year-old House is facing 14 counts of rape, kidnapping, criminal confinement and battery, while 44-year-old Tooley is facing 10 counts of rape, kidnapping and criminal confinement.  Both House and Tooley are scheduled to appear in court on October 1st, where they will most likely receive a very harsh sentence for their crimes.
