1017 Brick Squad member Peewee Longway was arrested this Sunday for drug possession, more specifically illegal possession of a controlled substance and first degree possession of marijuana.
Longway was on his way to a club appearance in Montgomery, AL., when cops pulled over his truck and detained the rapper before he could reach The Luxe Bar, also known as Club Luxe.
XXL spoke with a representative at the club, who said "While we were setting up the VIP area, I got a call from his manager saying they were 30 minutes away. Then next thing you know, he calls back saying they got pulled over by the police down the street."
According to XXL, another source close to the situation revealed that the truck was full of people, and the source believes the arrest was planned ahead of time, saying it "sounded like a set up to me. From what I heard, everybody went to jail."
Peewee's bond is currently set for $30,000 ($15,000 for each charge). Check out the charges and his mugshot in the gallery above.
