Drivers on a Rhode Island highway were baffled when bags of money flew out of an overturned armored truck.

According to an AP report, the incident happened on Saturday afternoon in Cranston, R.I.

The driver was headed southbound on Route 10 when he lost control of the truck. As the truck swerved and rolled over on it's side, duffel bags as well as clear bags fell out of the truck, leaving money all over the highway.

Police say people ran towards the truck, but it wasn't reported that any money was stolen.

The driver and the passenger escaped the ordeal with a few cuts and bruises.
