Chris Brown will head to D.C. after the Labor Day weekend in a third attempt to resolve an assault case involving himself, his bodyguard, and a fan.

According to Billboard, the singer was scheduled to appear in court last week over the incident, but due to traveling issues, the "Loyal" singer will be in court on Tuesday. Brown has rejected two plea deals in the case that would label the assault as a misdemeanor charge.

In October 2013, a fan accused Brown of punching him in the face.

Chris' bodyguard, Christopher Hollosy, testified that he was the one who struck the fan, not the singer. The 20-year-old fan insists that he was attacked by both men and even rated their punches; he gave Chris a 6, and Hollosy a 10.
