With everyone still talking about the Blue Ivy hair joke on 106 & Park this week, the network has taken a few losses including backlash from fans.
Since it was announced that a producer from the show was suspended from the program, a hiatus was also announced for the show, which has fans thinking that the joke was the reasoning behind it.
Co-Host Shad Moss has come forward to speak about the show's hiatus and if Karrueche's appearance had anything to do with it.
In a series of IG videos, the rapper says that show isn't canceled and the show normally goes on hiatus every Fall.
"We all pull up our pants the same, we all talk about everybody" he said about the backlash. "We're not going on hiatus because of Karrueche. This is what we do every fall."
He also says he's used the time to work on his upcoming role on CSI: Cyber.
"No y'all crazy, we're not suspended, we're not going off the air, we are currently been on hiatus," he said. "You haven't seen me on the show as of late because I have been using my time off to film for CSI. Just wanted to take the time to clear the air for anyone who's out there not knowing the truth."
As for the joke, the rapper says he wouldn't have said it at all.
"Now a brother like me.. would I have read that s***? Hell no, nah, nope, wouldn't have done it. Not me, nope. I don't do that."
