It's evident that these days there isn't any place Hip-Hop can't go -- even prison.

Officials at New York's Rikers Island have taken to implementing free Hip-Hop concerts into their "positive reinforcement" initiative for inmates.

Good behavior on the part of the inmates warrants them visits and performances from the likes of LL Cool J, who visited the prison with Russell Simmons to both speak to the incarcerated and perform for them, and Treach of Naughty By Nature who visited the inmates earlier this year.

According to reports, all artists perform pro bono.
