With news of rapper Joe Budden wanted for allegedly assaulting his ex-girlfriend, the rapper's lawyer is well aware of his client's outlandish tweets following the NYPD's search for him.

According to the New York Daily News, the NYPD issued a warrant for the rapper's arrest last week. After the NYPD used their Twitter page to tweet a mugshot of the rapper, the former Love and Hip Hop: New York cast member unleashed a few tweets towards the force.

His lawyer, Nima Ameri, is aware of the tweets and claims the rapper is currently working with the police.

"(He) has fully cooperated with the investigation," Ameri said. "Mr. Budden asks for patience as the evidence and facts unfold to demonstrate the truth of his involvement and the real events that transpired on the night in question."
