The entertainment industry is full of smoke and mirrors, and it seems one recently released "fight" between Aubrey O'Day and Dawn Richard of Danity Kane was just that.
Following the breakup of DK over Dawn allegedly clocking Aubrey in the studio, unreleased footage of the two was released on ThatGrapeJuice.net. The footage shows Dawn ignoring and abandoning fellow DK members to pursue her own interests, making her look pretty selfish on camera.
Richard recently confirmed via Instagram that it, along with the fight, were staged to pitch to networks for a reality show.
"Actually, this was staged and sent as a pilot and we never got a show because tv shows could read through the [fake fight] me and Aubrey had to have to do it. The bigger question is how for all of a sudden everyone have this footage. This is so sad."
Richard also provided proof it was all a set up, releasing a copy of an email from a reality show producer who told then they need to "carry every different scene."
