Hov has been very aggressive with his Roc Nation Sports agency since its inception last year. The management company has brought a number of sports superstars into its ranks and, almost immediately, helped them upgrade their contracts and endorsements.
The superstar rapper is now looking to extend his reach into the world of boxing as Roc Nation Sports has secured a promoters license in New York and Washington, D.C. The company also brought in veteran executive David Itskowitch to head its burgeoning boxing division.
RNS has yet to sign any boxers, but boasts athletes such as Kevin Durant, Robinson Cano, and CC Sabathia, among others, as members of its fold.
