Tons of celebrities and public figures have taken the #IceBucketChallenge, a new viral sensation dedicated to raising money for Lou Gehrig's Disease research, but not everyone is in a hurry to get drenched in ice cold H2O. 

Although he's been challenged by international superstars like Lebron James and Justin Bieber, the U.S. Commander-In-Chief, Barack Obama, hasn't been too keen about getting wet. Although he's donated to the cause, he's repeatedly refused to actually splish-splash on camera.

A government official participating in the fun wouldn't be unprecedented: politicians such as Chris Christie, Bobby Jindal and Joe Kennedy III have taken part in the challenge
