If your boss has ever shafted you on overtime you can probably relate to this. Jermaine Dupri's former road manager and personal assistant is suing the So So Def boss for four years of unpaid overtime.

Taddrick Mingo filed suit in Atlanta federal court this week claiming that from May, 2010, to his resignation in 2014, he averaged 65-hour work weeks but Dupri didn't give him a dime for the extra time.

Mingo, an industry vet who's worked with the likes of Usher, Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston, Lionel Richie, LL Cool J and Dupri since 2001, accused Dupri of breach of contract and "unjust enrichment" in the suit, saying his requests for back pay were met with nothing but "empty reassurances".

The lawsuit, which also seeks damages and attorney's fees, did not state how much overtime pay Mingo believes is due to him.

Should JD pay his disgruntled ex-employee what he feels he's owed, or is this just another example of a scammer looking for a quick come up? Let us know your thoughts in the C-section.
