Before he even laces up his sneaks this season, New York Knicks superstar small forward, Carmelo Anthony, will already have half of his pay in his pockets due to a unique advance payment agreement in his contract.

According to the NBA's collective bargaining, a player can receive up to 50% of their yearly pay up front. With Melo set to make 22.5 mil this year alone and a monster contract of $124 million on deck, the baller could see up to $62 million in advances over the next few years.

With a slimmer body and fatter pockets, it looks like Melo's got all the motivation he's gonna need to go hard this year.
