Nicki Minaj has been one of the most popular names in hip-hop for the last five years, so naturally she can charge a pretty penny to grace any party with her presence. Unfortunately, that plan may have backfired in one instance and now the Jamaica, Queens MC is being sued.

According to Page Six, IMP Entertainment paid Nicki $50,000 to host an event in Hollywood during All-Star Weekend back in 2011. The gig was only for an hour, and yet they claim she showed up 90 minutes late and left after only 30 minutes.

They're suing to get their cash back, as her tardiness "defeated the entire purpose of" showing up to the event.

Does this sound like a fair suit? Sound off below.
