Mark your calendars: Lil Wayne's new album, Tha Carter V, will be released on October 28th, 2014. Weezy F. Baby stopped by ESPN's First Take earlier today to announce the album's official release date.
Not only did Tunechi give the world that exclusive, he also unveiled the album's artwork. The photo, featuring an adolescent Wayne standing by his mother's leg and brandishing his trademark face tats, continues the emcee's penchant for using pre-rap, childhood photos as album art and is very apropos considering today is #TBT.
