Although starting their careers as comedians with small screen appeal and serviceable silver screen capability, Martin Lawrence and Will Smith solidified their status as superstars with serious box office drawing power when they connected in '95 for the fast-paced, action-packed buddy cop film 'Bad Boys'. When they reunited for the sequel 8 years later, it only further cemented their magic as a duo.

The sequel in 2003 was well-received and immensely popular but there's been no word on a third film to complete the 'Bad Boys' saga -- until now. On Wednesday night, 'Ol Marty Mar stopped by the Conan O'Brien show and delivered some great news concerning Marcus Burnett and his partner, Mike Lowrey.

"I just talked to [producer] Jerry Bruckheimer yesterday and he said it's real, they're working on the script, they're getting close, and it all looks good," Lawrence said of the forthcoming third installment.

There is no word on when production will start or when 'Bad Boys 3' will be released. Are you excited for part three, or should Martin and Will leave the classic series alone? Let us know in the comments section.
