Since day one, Jeezy has championed himself a man of the people and has called his music "motivation" for the streets. Never have these claims been more factual than today as the emcee took to his Instagram account to make a bold declaration.

Of the many Hip-Hop artists voicing their outrage with the recent shooting of Michael Brown, an unarmed 18-year-old, by St. Louis police, Jeezy is the first to touch down in Ferguson, MO and show his solidarity physically. The "Trap Or Die" rapper was in town for his Under The Influence tour, alongside co-headliner Wiz Khalifa, and visited the remains of the local QuikTrip convenience store that was burned to the ground by community members in a wave a riots that have come in response to the killing.

"I had to see it for myself!! The answer is not tearing down our own neighborhoods and communities, the answer is goin to the source of the problem in numbers," Jeezy captioned a photo. "So many numbers that they know they don't have a chance. We want justice not chaos!! #ferguson #st.louis #saveourchildren #justiceformichaelbrown"
