It was announced on Saturday that the producers behind the much talked about Aaliyah biopic for Lifetime had found their actors to portray Missy Elliott and Timabland.

According to BlackFilm, newcomers Chattrisse Dolabaille (above) and Izaak Smith, were chosen to play the artists that worked with Aaliyah for her breakout album, One In A Million.

Dolabaille, a Canadian actress has a handful of films under her belt, while Smith has started in "Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief" and "Mirror Mirror."

Fans immediately slammed the film's choices, given the lack of experience and looks of the actors.

Twitter created the hashtag #LifetimeCastings with hilarious far-fetched castings like Rosie O'Donnell as Gucci Mane, Whoopi Goldberg as 2 Chainz, and One Direction as New Edition.
