"Love & Hip-Hop" is one of television's biggest franchises, so it only made sense for creator Mona-Scott Young to continue expanding its brand and start up another edition in Los Angeles.

While the LA production stars singer Ray J, sources close to the show tell TMZ that producers are worried about the show's lack of interesting characters and weak storylines, and they've decided to bring in "Crank Dat" rapper Soulja Boy, in the hopes that he and Ray J will have great on-camera chemistry.
