It seems like Chicago rappers are all on the same path, as  Lil Reese was recently arrested on gun charges, and now it seems Lil Durk has pleaded guilty to the same thing, but instead of getting jail time, he's been put on 18 months of probation.

According to the Chicago Tribune, the prosecution recommended the rapper, real name Durk Banks, receive at least a year behind bars, but Judge Joseph Kazmierski, Jr took it easy on the Chi-Town artist giving him 18 months, and gave him credit for 43 days spent in jail.

The 20-year-old rapper told the Tribune he's ready to put the case behind him. "The key word is I'll be staying out of trouble," said Banks to the reporter, saying he'll never be in this predicament again. "You can put a capital N – for never."

The judge also sentenced Durk to volunteer for 50 more hours of community service at CureViolence at the University of Illinois, for which he's already volunteered more than 150 hours.

Durk vows to rap about this experience on his debut album, "Remember My Name."

"I'm going to talk about everything that's gone on, everything that's happened this past year – the violence, the deaths, the court."
