While Nicki Minaj set the net on fire with the release of her "Anaconda" cover art, she ended up pushing the release date of the actual song back to Monday, August 8th.
"My darlingz, I've pushed the release of Anaconda to next week, Monday 8/4. I promise you will understand why before the week is out. Loveeeeeeee uuuuuu."
Hip-Hop Wired is now reporting that Minaj pushed her single back to accommodate Beyonce's new single on which she's featured. While Beyonce's latest self-titled album doesn't include a Nicki Minaj feature, Beyonce's management company confirmed last December that the two did in fact hit the studio together.
