Lil Reese has accused Cook County police officers of setting up his recent arrest.

The rapper was arrested for felony gun possession in Chicago on Monday.

It appears that the rapper paid his $50,000 bond is now a free man. Reese went to his Twitter account to speak out on his arrest.

"Police fufu put a gun on me but I'm out tho wat y'all talking bout," he tweeted Wednesday morning. "I ain't got my phone rite na but imma getup wit y'all...#300"

Reese, who has a string of arrests including a battery charge and marijuana possession, has posted several photos with guns on his social media accounts.

Although details are scarce surrounding the arrest, police are known to use social media against suspects.

Hawaii resident Richard Godbehere was arrested last year for posting a video of himself drinking a beer and driving on Facebook, and last week a woman from southern Illinois was arrested after posting selfies in a stolen dress on the site.
