The altercation between Orlando Bloom and Justin Bieber at a restaurant in Ibiza was shocking since there was no known recent tension between the two men that would predict that a fight would break out. Video footage captured the entire altercation, which shows Orlando walk up to Justin and throw a jab at his face; however, the blow was deflected by one of Justin's bodyguards.
While no one knows the real reason behind the clash, everyone has been speculating that their issues stem from a 2012 Victoria's Secret fashion show where Justin allegedly got a little too flirtatious with Orlando's then wife, Miranda Kerr. Adding fuel to the fire, more tension reportedly developed after Orlando was seen out with Bieber's ex-girlfriend and first true love, Selena Gomez, earlier this year.
Since news broke that Orlando took a punch at Justin, Twitter has gone wild with fans of both celebrities chiming in on the situation. It's enough that restaurant patrons reportedly "cheered" after Orlando attempted to hit Justin, but now that applause has spread to nationwide Twitter praise for the Lord of the Rings actor. Many people have been eagerly posting about how happy they are that Orlando took a shot at Bieber, and how they wish they could've done it themselves. Of course, there are those who have been criticizing the older star for acting immaturely, but the vast majority of responses have been anti-Bieber.
