Last week it was reported that soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo would be the first athlete signed to Lil Wayne's new sports management company, Visionaire Sports Group. It seems, however, that there may have been a misunderstanding, as Ronaldo recently took to Instagram to deny the new deal.
"There have been news about changes on my management team - it's all false, and I can assure the team is - and will be - the same."
YMCMB has since addressed the confusion, telling TMZ that Ronaldo & Wayne are indeed working together, with a project already beginning this week. They do confirm, however, that Ronaldo has yet to fire anyone on his current team. The Young Money rep added that Wayne is to handle "branding, marketing and other sports management issues in the United States."
