While Keyshia Cole & Daniel Gibson's relationship has been over for quite some time, the couple is still legally married and the NBA baller is refusing to file for a divorce, citing his faith as the reason.
Cole reportedly intended to file for divorce last month, but hadn't finished the process before Gibson supposedly beat her to the punch last week. TMZ obtained documents and noticed Gibson listed himself as his own attorney, which set off a few alarms.
Upon further investigation, it was discovered that an impostor filed the papers in Gibson's name, and Gibson himself told TMZ that he will never file for divorce.
"She would have to do it. I am a Christian. I believe in 'til death do us part.'"
Gibson also said he is prepared to press charges against the impostor.
Cole separated from Gibson stemming from an alleged affair he had with a Houston-based stripper.
