Meek Mill suffered another setback behind bars when he was denied an emergency hearing by a Philadelphia judge.

According to Philly News, the rapper's lawyers were turned away by Judge Genece Brinkley who claimed her schedule wouldn't allow her to see Meek until September. She also denied requests for another judge to look over the case.

Mill, who has been jailed since July 11, spent the first three days in solitary confinement for safety reasons and was later placed in a housing area with 20 other inmates.

The rapper's lawyers, Christopher Warren and Dennis Coogan, plan to issue a writ of mandamus on Monday, which will allow a higher court to force Brinkley to hold the hearing.

It isn't guaranteed that the rapper will be released after the emergency hearing is held.
