Nick Young says Iggy Azalea wasn't phased by Nicki Minaj's alleged diss at the BET Awards last month, but he did comfort her after the comments came pouring in from her haters and critics online.

Yahoo! caught up the with basketball player during the ESPYs Wednesday night. Swaggy P says he will always stand by his lady's side and includes that her success might have a few competitors worried.

"Oh man! You know, it is what it is," he said. "I had to deal with the aftermath when she came home. When she got home and was going through her phone and hearing all the things and people talking trash about her, you know I had to be there for her, but you know what, Iggy is doing big things and its scaring a lot of people!"

During her big win at the BET Awards for "Best Female Rapper," Nicki sent a comment out to rappers who don't write their own lyrics, seemingly aimed at Iggy.

"What I want the world to know about Nicki Minaj is when you hear Nicki Minaj spit, Nicki Minaj wrote it." she said.

Nicki has said since that the supposed call-out wasn't directed at anyone in particular, and she was speaking generally.

Iggy also shared her thoughts on the ordeal via Instagram, claiming that she was "unbothered" by the situation.
