Pharrell Williams has officially transcended the world of simply producing Hip-Hop records for your favorite MC's and has moved on up to scoring film soundtracks like "Despicable Me" and "The Amazing Spider-Man 2." The next step? Taking over the video game world.

2K Sports announced this morning that Williams will be curating the soundtrack for their upcoming title, "NBA 2K15." Skateboard P will handpick a diverse playlist for the game and is promising to take women into consideration as well as the men who will likely buy most copies.

"You know what? There are girls that play the game and there's a lot of girls that are around it because their boyfriends play it or their friends play it," he told Complex. "So I thought it'd be such an interesting twist to have the girls weigh in on the song list, because they're the ones that listen to it, they listen to it just as much."

Jay Z and LeBron James have had this task in the past, but Pharrell is ready to give his "GIRL" themed approach a try.

"I was just trying to pick like an alternative approach, you know, because how do you follow up like LeBron and Jay? You gotta take a different route."

The soundtrack will be revealed later this summer, but you can take a look at the "NBA 2K15" cover featuring Kevin Durant above.
