Ashanti's mom and manager Tina Douglas recently celebrated another year on earth, and the "Braveheart" singer, younger sis Shia, and their pops threw mama a "Forever Young" birthday bash in New York to celebrate.
Family and friends attended the soiree which took place at the Crest Hollow Country Club. Ashanti stunned in a curve-hugging Givenchy gown and sent out this special message to mama Tina:
"A very Special Happy Birthday to the most important woman in my life... The strongest, most loving selfless mother ever made...words can't express my love & gratitude... so I'll just say I LOVE U MORE THEN LIFE!!! & I'm so lucky to have u... Thank you!!! Happy Birthday Ma!!"
Lil sis Shia also rocked a flattering floor-length white gown, and had this to say about mom:
"Happy Birthday To My Backbone! The strongest, selfless woman I Know! Mommy you mean the world to me and i honestly dont know what i'd do without you! I only Hope to some day be Half the woman, Wife, and Mother you are today!
