You might not be familiar with tween metal band Unlocking The Truth, but the tweens have garnered the attention of Sony executives.

According to Spin, the rock metal group from Brooklyn, NY have signed a $1.7 million deal with Sony Records that includes a documentary and book deal.

Malcolm Brickhouse, 13; bassist Alec Atkins, 13; and drummer Jarad Dawkins, 12, also have a two-album deal with a $60,000 advance on their first album, and up to a $350,000 advance on their second.

The group also has the possibility of earning royalties from their deal.

Earlier this year the boys took over the Coachella stage and recently the Vans Warped Tour.
