Meek Mill recently made a trip to his hometown of Philadelphia to show support for a family who lost four young children over the fourth of July holiday weekend to a fire. Meek is a native of North Philly, not far from Southwest Philly where the fire took place.
Here's what Meek had to say to NBC Philadelphia about returning home to pay the family and community a visit:
"I just wanted to come by and show my support to all of the families and everybody that was hurt by this situation," Meek told NBC Philadelphia. "I feel I'm in a position where I can help these people. Anything I can do to help them with their losses, I'm gonna do it."
Meek also stated that he plans on donating money to the family affected by the tragedy.
