Remember when Jay-Z and Roc Nation filed an extortion police report against sound engineer Chauncey Mahan earlier this year? Well, it seems as though the drama with this case is still continuing to unfold despite the fact that Jay has since dropped the case.

TMZ is reporting that Mahan is claiming to have been a prominent producer and creator during Roc-A-Fella's heyday. According to Mahan, he worked with Roc-A-Fella as a sound engineer, using his expertise on Pro Tools to help the label produce some of their biggest hits to date, including songs from "The Life and Times of S. Carter" and "The Dynasty."

Mahan feels that he is entitled as the co-owner of the copyright and should be given the master recordings back. The LAPD confiscated the recordings after Jay set up a sting operation when Mahan met up with Jay's people to hand over the boxes of master recordings in exchange for $100,000.
