After taking a few days to clear their heads and properly review the severity of the unfortunate fight between Math Hoffa and Dizaster at KOTD's BOLA 5 event, the owners of the league have come to a decision on how to properly deal with Dizaster going forward.  Since Math Hoffa was ultimately the victim this time, as he was punched in the face without having laid hands on Dizaster first, a severe punishment has been laid down on Dizaster that could last a lifetime.

Organik issued an official statement on Facebook today, July 2nd, that details KOTD's verdict on Dizaster's future with the league.

The punishment is almost as harsh as the one laid down upon Donald Sterling for his racially charged comments made about black people which resulted in NBA Commissioner Adam Silver banning him from the league for life.  Organik and his KOTD staff have decided to officially lay down a lifetime ban on Dizaster, preventing him from participating in any further KOTD events from here on out; however, their ruling did leave a small opening for redemption, should Dizaster choose to accept it.

Organik and the rest of the KOTD team will allow for Dizaster's lifetime ban to be revoked and switched to a year-long suspension at minimum if he chooses to pay a $2,500 fine to the league, and most importantly, issue a sincere public apology for sparking what turned out to be a group attack on Math Hoffa.  In the statement, Organik explained why KOTD is willing to give Dizaster an option to right his wrongs and return to the league.

"This is not a case of having Dizaster back in KOTD, but a case of taking the right steps forward in killing any sort of animosity these actions have brought upon battle rap as a culture."

Organik went on to praise Math for always being professional while participating on the KOTD platform despite the unfortunate violence that plagued their most recent event.

"He's [Math Hoffa] a professional, and has always conducted himself as one underneath the KOTD banner."

How do you feel about KOTD's punishment for Dizaster?  Do you think that it is fair?  Are they being too lenient with the minimal one-year suspension if Diz pays the fine and apologizes publicly?  Do you think that Diz should be charged more money?
