The beef between Dizaster and Math Hoffa is at a crossroads, where it could either take a right turn in a positive direction, or a hard left into truly dangerous territory.  Since the initial fight concluded, Math has since taken to Instagram to both show his unmarked face as well as speak his mind on how he was attacked by more than one individual during the melee.  Meanwhile, Dizaster has gone on to accept a fight challenge from Daylyt, exchange words with Joe Budden, and announce that he will be banning himself from KOTD.

Fast forward to today, July 1st, and this chapter of Battle Rap history has only gotten deeper after Math Hoffa aired out his thoughts on how he believes he was set up to get jumped at KOTD's BOLA 5 event.

Math began by issuing a statement about the tough decisions he has to make regarding how he will choose to proceed with the growing tension between him and Dizaster, as well as the drama brewing between East Coast vs. West Coast tension.  Math understands that his next move will "change the future of battle rap n its a lot of pressure."  He stated in his address that he is conflicted between taking the "Martin luther King or Malcolm X" approach towards handling the current beef.  He went on to post various pictures and message about how he truly believes he was set up to get jumped at BOLA 5.

Math posted one picture of a man standing close behind him in the crowd wearing a purple bandanna, which is symbolic of the Grape Street Crips, and he also shared a friendly yet competitive picture from a text conversation he and Dizaster shared just a week prior to the event.  On top of that text image, Math also posted a photo of him and Dizaster standing outside of the venue before their battle, where he claims he was trying to calm him down after he got into a situation with someone inside.  The caption for that picture reads:

"Me n the snake having a convo about him flipping out on somebody in the venue n me telling him to chill out like I did at #Blackout... #setup #cowardlysnakes #lessonlearned"

Math posted those two photos with hopes of showing the public that he and Dizaster had no real beef leading up to the battle.  Dizaster only commented after one fan alerted him to the fact that Math's picture of their text convo exposed Dizaster's phone number.  However, Diz did later post one single tweet stating, "Nah yall right ....i f*cked up."
