South Bronx rapper French Montana was due in criminal court today (June 26) and pled guilty to riding around NYC in his white Rolls Royce Ghost without a license.

Montana was originally flagged down by police while sitting in his ride outside of B.B. King's, a restaurant and music venue in Manhattan. He was preparing to hit up an after-party with Funkmaster Flex when cops realized his license was suspended. However, Javier Solano, Montana's lawyer, says it was a simple mixup and French is prepared to pay the $588 fine and move on.

"This is a really stand-up guy," Javier said. He explained that the rapper never received a notice that his license was suspended because of a mixup with DMV records, and he immediately went to the DMV to fix it after his arrest, Solano said.

Montana headed to court immediately after picking up girlfriend Khloe Kardashian from JFK airport.
