Following years of red tape and casting issues, legendary Hip-Hop group NWA's new film has finally been fully cast, with Universal Pictures giving the pioneering group's biopic an actual release date.

"Straight Outta Compton" will be released August 14th, 2015, starring "Non-Stop" actor Corey Hawkins as Dr. Dre, relatively new actor Jason Mitchell as Eazy-E and Ice Cube's own son O'Shea Jackson Jr. playing his dad.

The biopic will be directed by F. Gary Gray, who also directed classics like "Friday" and "Set It Off." Ice Cube and Dr. Dre are executive producing the project, along with fellow producers Matt Alvarez and Tomica Woods-Wright, widow of group member Eazy-E.
