Today, June 17th, Hot 97's Ebro and Shot97's Troi "Star" Torain exchanged some very heated words on Twitter over issues involving Hot 97 radio personality Peter Rosenberg.

Star became aware of Ebro joking on Twitter about how he should go to Hot 97 and "slap" Peter Rosenberg.  Star previously aired out his thoughts on Rosenberg during one of his "Live & Direct" radio broadcasts, over comments that Rosenberg made about Chuck D.  In Star's broadcast he repeatedly asked why someone hasn't "slapped" Rosenberg yet and put him in check.

Star didn't seem to find Ebro's tweets too amusing due to the fact that Emmis, the company which owns WQHT "Hot 97", previously sued Star in 2005, called the police on him in 2006, and also threatened to take legal action against him in 2012 over various business matters.  The feud between Star and Hot 97 had been laid to rest until Ebro's tweets struck a nerve with Star and motivated him to respond.

"@oldmanebro is part of the team that sued me in 2005, called Police on me in 2006 and sent a legal threat in 2012. #blocked," Star tweeted in response to Ebro's tweet about slapping Peter Rosenberg.  Star then followed that up with, "@oldmanebro No one wants to, needs to or has been told to go to Hot 97 for any reason - desert thirsty Ni**a! #ratings"

Ebro soon clapped back at Star, questioning what he meant when he mentioned being sued by Hot 97, and also threw some personal jabs at Star with tweets like, "Someone please find @STARANDBUCWILD physician this cat doin' coke & drinkin again. His liver ain't gone make it... Hahahahaa."

The back-and-forth went on for quite some time, which eventually lead to Star discussing the matter on his Live & Direct radio show.  He even went in on how Ebro is allegedly a "snitch," whose 4-page police statement helped send Lil Kim to prison for a year for perjury in 2005.  Ebro fired back defending himself from "snitching" claims as well.
