R. Kelly's child Jaya was born a girl, but recently came out as transgender on Instagram, making headlines on various media outlets. Jaya, now known as Jay, had a Q&A session on his ask.fm account, where the 14-year-old revealed that he and his dad don't have a relationship.
When a follower asked if the famed R&B singer reached out after he made the announcement, Jay replied with a simple "no." Another follower asked if R. Kelly had said anything about Jay's transition, and the teen once again responded "no."
