Twenty five years after Spike Lee filmed the now legendary movie, "Do The Right Thing", the street where the movie was shot has now been changed to "Do The Right Thing" Way, in commemoration of the cult classic Spike Lee Joint. The movie was filmed on Stuyvesant Avenue between Lexington and Quincy in the Bedford Stuyvesant neighborhood of Brooklyn.

The film, which was nominated for two Academy Awards and given a coveted spot in the National Film Registry, deals with issues of race relations in America.
