Troy Ave had a few surprises for his fans at Hot 97's Summer Jam show.

Before the rapper hit the stage, he presented a special intro video which mocked "trendy rappers." The skit featured a rapper dressed as Trinidad James in a leather get-up who talked about the golden days of Hip Hop.

As the skit ended, Troy mentions Trinidad James, calling him a weirdo.

Troy Ave did, however, show love to Jay Z, Biggie Smalls and 50 Cent, one of his biggest influences. He also brought out T.I. during the end of his set.

Speaking to Ms. Info and Laura Styles after his performance, the rapper talked about his outlook on Trinidad James.

"Trinidad just happened to find himself on the screen," he said about the skit. "He's a weirdo rapper and that's him. That's what you are. I didn't make that picture that's him."
