The aftermath of the now infamous elevator altercation between Jay Z and Solange may have had a more damaging effect than the Carters anticipated.  It seems Jay and Bey's "On The Run" tour sale numbers have decreased following the release of the fight footage.  According to Forbes, ticket prices for the newly added tour dates dropped by 13.5%.

Other data from the ticket resale site Tiqlo shows that the ticket prices from all of their tour dates have dropped from $306.22 to $264.73.  While analyst Connor Gregoire at the ticket search engine, SeatGeek, has stated that the price drop is "likely just a part of the normal ebb and flow of the market," it's odd how the price drops occurred shortly after the fight video was released.

With the tour beginning on June 25th at Miami's Sun Life Stadium, it will be interesting to see if the ticket prices rise again as the first tour date approaches.  What are your thoughts on the lower ticket prices following the elevator incident?
