While the general public is still hoping to learn the real reason behind the heated elevator confrontation between Jay Z and Solange, Beyonce and the rest of her family are taking the necessary steps toward moving forward from the entire situation. Since the violent encounter, the trio has gone on to release a statement explaining their intentions to simply move past the incident, and now Beyonce has taken an even bigger step forward towards uniting her family in the eyes of all who watch them.
The Carters went to New Orleans over the weekend and visited Solange for a family gathering on May 17th at Cafe Amelie, where they enjoyed each other's company for about two full hours. Beyonce made sure to capture a few pictures of the time they spent together, and posted them on both her Instagram and Tumblr accounts. In one shot, Jay stood alongside Beyonce, Solange, and their mother Tina Knowles, with everyone flashing some big smiles for the camera. Jay also snapped a photo Solange's boyfriend and her son, while Bey and Solange teamed up for some sisterly camera love.
