WBA International Super Lightweight Champion Adrien Broner raised eyebrows after his big win against Carlos Molina last week.

During his post-game interview, Broner bragged to Jim Gray about his wins.

"I've beaten Africans and I just beat the f*** out a Mexican." Broner said.

Since the fight, the boxer has stated that he loves all Mexicans; however, Broner has been put on suspension from the World Boxing Council for his insensitive comments.

The WBC site released a statement saying that Broner is welcome to relieve his suspension by giving a public apology.

"Adrien Broner is hereby suspended from participating in any WBC sanctioned Championship and will be excluded from the WBC Ratings until the time he makes a public apology satisfactorily to the public of the world," it reads.

"Boxing is a great sport, it is a world sport and boxers are honorable and exemplary members of the community. FairPlay and human equality must always be upheld."

It's unknown when Broner will fight next.

Do you believe the punishment is too harsh, not harsh enough, or just right?
