Love and Hip Hop stars Mimi and Nikko's pornographic home movie may take the title as the most pirated sex tape of all time.
According to TMZ, on Monday, Vivid, the company handling the tape, was forced to send out over 1,200 cease and desist letters after it was discovered that multiple sites were airing the stolen video.
Vivid's Steve Hirsch has warned perpetrators about sharing the pirated material. "If you even try to illegally download this tape we will come after you full force." he told TMZ.
Overall sales from the tape have yet to be collected, but the stolen footage doesn't seem to be damaging interest in the tape. Reportedly, Vivid is seeing a growth in membership because of the tape, with 15 new members added to the site every minute.
Hirsch is still determined to stop perps the best way possible. "We have three full-time attorneys prepared and ready to go."
