Neil K. Scott, 25, and Timothy R. Brooks, 18, both graduates of $35,000-a-year Haverford School in Philadelphia, were arrested for running a massive drug ring. Scott reportedly used his ties to the prep school athletics to push large amounts of pot, cocaine, hash oil and ecstasy through sub-dealers at five local high schools and three colleges.

Authorities revealed that Scott and Brooks had set the bar for sub-dealers to move at least a pound of marijuana each week, luring in customers with low prices and drugs on credit. According to the NY Daily News, police seized "8 pounds of marijuana, 3 grams of hash oil, 23 grams of cocaine, 11 grams of MDMA, more than $11,000 in cash, a loaded AR-15 assault rifle, a loaded 9mm pistol, gun ammunition, eight cellphones and two cars."

Scott formerly worked at a marijuana dispensary in San Diego and had large quantities sent across the country, selling to customers ranging in ages from 15 to 55. He is currently locked up on a $1 million bail while awaiting trial.
