As Diamond prepares for a new chapter in her life, the rapper wants people to know she's not a kid anymore.

Diamond was once a part of the popular Atlanta group Crime Mob in the mid 2000s. The rapper was just a teen when the group spawned the hits "Knuck If You Buck," and "Rock Ya Hips." After major success, the group disbanded. In an interview with AllHipHop, Diamond talks about her failed relationship with Lil Scrappy, her new reality show, and why she demands respect.

After appearing briefly on Love & Hip Hop in 2012, Diamond says she was hurt over comments Scrappy made on the show about their relationship.

"Even though that's my past, about my ex and him getting on the TV show saying some things about my character that weren't really true. You know, I kept my keep so I can put it in my music," she said."To really tell my story. That was the past this is now, but a lot of women can relate to my story. That's just a little piece of it. But that's just a piece of my life, that's not my whole entire life."

Diamond is set to star with fellow female rappers Nyemiah Supreme, Siya, Bia and Brianna Perry in Sisterhood of Hip Hop, produced by T.I on the Oxygen Network. With the opportunity to speak more about her growth, she's ready for the challenges ahead.

The femcee also shares why she's straying away from the aggressive music she released in the past.

"I have more to talk about than just getting crunk and fighting in the club," she said. "The sound, the instruments, I have live producers coming in playing live on the drums, and the piano. I'm really taking it to the next level."
