For Elle Magazine's upcoming 'Women In Music' issue, the magazine celebrates rap darlings Iggy Azalea and Angel Haze as artists who are buzzing today. Other acts included in the issue are singer Ariana Grande, Foxes and Cher for her ever-changing style.

Iggy discussed why she refrained from opening up on her early singles.

"I never dove into my personal experiences. I didn't want to be vulnerable," she said. "I always felt like [rap] was escapism, but sometimes you can miss being human."

Angel Haze had the opposite to say. Many of the femcee's songs were inspired by her rough past.

"I came out of the gate projectile vomiting my demons all over the place," she said. "It felt like immediately a weight had been lifted."

Past femcees celebrated in the special issue were Nicki Minaj, Azealia Banks and Santigold.
