The topic of the dwindling number of black athletes in Major League Baseball was covered yesterday, April 17th, on ESPN's Mike & Mike in the Morning radio show.  It's a subject that has no real answer, as the number of black baseball players has been steadily declining for years, but rapper and sports enthusiast Wale had a rather interesting theory as to why black athletes flock to sports such as basketball or football rather than baseball.

He credited it to the vast amount of athletic black icons that have played basketball and football compared to the much smaller number of renowned black baseball players.  He contacted Mike Greenberg, the radio host of Mike & Mike in the Morning, via Twitter to share his theory.

Check out what Wale had to say about the lack of black baseball players above.
